Newfound Associates is a Massachusetts based executive search firm specializing in Mid-Senior Management recruitment. Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking a highly qualified Associate Attorney to join a high-performing Private Investment Funds Group (within the Private Equity Practice) for a hybrid role located in Boston. The position will advise on complex and private investment transactions for elite private equity sponsors, direct lenders, and financial institutions across a wide range of industries and deal structures. (Our client does not seek candidates with Mutual Funds/Registered Funds background.)
The role of the Attorney position will be to advise fund manager clients on the structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds. The position will also draft and manage fund documents, including negotiation with institutional and high-net-worth investors on fund terms and related agreements.
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of substantive experience in fund formation transactions with private investment funds, focusing on the private equity, real estate, and/or tech industries. A JD from a respected law school with a strong academic record of achievement and active admission in the MA Bar Association.
